Thank you to all of the volunteers who made our first Fall Fest such a success. Special thanks go out to the coordinators of this event. Thank you Nicole Daye, Thomasine Flores, and Calonia Fults for your dedication to the youth ministry.

SlimeTime!

Youth mark your calenders for October 30th at 5 PM. The WABC youth ministry will host its first Fall Harvest! There will be games, food, face painting, crafts, prizes and "slimy" fun for kids of all ages. Adults we are not leaving you out of the mix. Join us in a special lounge set up just for you that night! WABC family and friends we need candy donations and volunteers to help make this fun event a success! Don't forget to invite your friends and neighbors to SlimeTime! Admission is free but we will be collecting non-perishable food items at the door for our Food Pantry. Dare To Dream!

Join us on Monday September 20th and Tuesday September 21st for our "Dare To Dream" Youth and Young Adult Revival at WABC. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Melvin Cotton, Associate minister at Grove Baptist Church in Portsmouth VA. Our special guest for the week will include the Youth Choir of Bethel AME Church in Hampton, Mime Dancers from Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Praise Dancers of Messiah Presbyterian Church, Norfolk and guest soloist Casaundra Payne of NSU. Doors open at 7 PM and attire is casual. Invite your friends and family to join us!

Dare To Dream!

Join us Monday September 20th at 7 PM for the start of our Youth and Young Adult Revival. Our speaker will be Rev. Melvin Cotton of Grove Baptist Church, Portsmouth VA. Featuring the youth choir of Bethel AME Church of Hampton VA, and a Mime Group from Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA. Doors open at 7 PM. Attire is casual. Our theme this year is "Dare To Dream"! Invite your friends and family to come and worship at WABC where we are a real church, serving the real God, reaching out to real people to effect real change!
